Education Philosophy

Saddleback Valley Christian Schools teaches Biblically-based principles. Our mission is to provide an environment which gives an opportunity for students to succeed academically, athletically, socially, and experience a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord.
As stated in Luke 2:52, “And Jesus increased in wisdom, and in stature, and in favor with God and man.”

We believe that children develop in an orderly, predictable pattern called the “developmental process.” Concrete hands-on experiences have relevance in the child’s understanding of the world around him or her.

We recognize that children develop at different rates. God puts “time clocks” in each one. Some are early bloomers and some take a little more time, but all are unique and exactly the individuals that God created them to be.

We also believe that teachers need to be enablers, encouragers, and motivators – not just imparters of information. So, as learning is ongoing and as information is constantly being absorbed, we offer activities ranging from foundational those which are incrementally progressive, upon mastery.

We build on the conceptual rudiments by offering, without pressure, curricula designed for “taking the next step.” Those who are ready respond; those who need the “gift of time,” have stress-free exposure.

Our teachers are continuously availing themselves of information and strategies to promote ongoing excellence.
